We will cover different topics every month and you can learn useful tips to prevent pain and avoid injury. You can also learn more about the ML830 Laser and get a coupon for one free treatment. We just want to remind you that the holiday season can be the ideal time for you and your friends and family to come in for therapy. In January, most insurance deductibles and benefits start over. We don't want you to miss your chance to come in and get the quality treatment you deserve before your deductible starts over. October 2009Walker Physical Therapy & Pain Center is going to award two $500 youth sports scholarships to two deserving students. A $100 gift card to a local sporting goods store will also be awarded. Any high school student from Orange Unified School District, Santa Ana Unified School District, and Tustin Unified School District who wants to play sports can enter our contest. Students must have a 2.5 GPA or higher and be eligible to play sports according to their school guidelines. Student must submit a 1-2 page essay responding to the following prompt: Write a 1-2 page essay about how sports have affected or impacted your life in a positive way. You can tell us about a coach, game, or team member that made a difference in your life or why a certain sport is important to you. Whatever you choose to write is up to you but make sure your story is positive and inspiring, and most importantly that your story is true and written by you, alone.
